Census Bureau: 74.1% of people in Collin County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 1,039,812 citizens living in Collin County in 2021, 74.1% were old enough to vote, equating to 770,914 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 378,123 were male, constituting 49%, and 392,791 were female, making up 51%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Collin County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 74.2%.
