Resident thoughts and opinions will be used by City staff, a task force, the Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council to craft policies about short-term rentals inside Plano city limits. The Plano Short-Term Rental Study kicked off with a community survey in the spring of 2023. An appointed citizen task force began their work in early summer, with work planned to wrap up in the spring of 2024.
